Welcome to the new website for the Archdiocese of Chicago's - Catholics United For The Environment - C.U.E.
We are a new group involving many organizations around the Archdiocese devoted to promoting our faith's calling from God to care for the planet and its inhabitants. We are interested in more than just "being green" as we understand that stewardship of the earth is also a social justice issue.
We are currently organizing a Pilgrimage for the Planet to take place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii (www.ourladyofpompeii.org) on October 4, 2008.
